LGS told me that once your eForm has "returned", you are good to go to do the conversion from pistol to SBR. You don't have to wait on the approved form. This was for the amnesty guns only.

I presume they are considering the eForm reply as “submitted” to be the return? I’m confused.
The braced pistols are considered to be SBRs, as they currently exist. Doesn’t matter at what point you put a real stock on them, as long as you’ve “submitted” your forms, electronically or by mail, during the amnesty period.

That is why "returned" is is parens. You are correct with the submitted designation. The ones I have gotten returned were also "denied" for various fixable reasons.

My S&W 76 and R9 suppressor were approved at 193 and 187 days, respectively. Both filed as an individual transferee.

Only the government could turn 90 days into six months.

268 days for a machine gun submitted in mid 2022 e file. All ATF can tell you is "pending" if you call. Just learn patience, that call from your SOT is all the more thrilling after a long blackout. 😁
