Still is stunning how casual people are with concealed carry. Just goes to show, for every opportunity a criminal has to get a gun without much of a hassle, they will go for it. The victim is supposedly an off duty cop, but couldn't find any story about this to verify it.

The problem with that incident wasn’t because of the way she was carrying other than her complete and utter lack of situational awareness and exposing it for everybody to see. The key word in the phrase concealed carry is “concealed“ is what it means. When you carry a firearm for protection it’s equally important to protect it as much as anything else and even more so IMHO. If carrying anything exposed you need to have some form of security holster to carry it in so people just can’t snatch it.

Don’t let them know you have it. Especially when walking through the badlands.
