101, I don't know what that is but I like it. Is that a type A lower? The barrel looks like an Argy I had. The top cover looks like a Canadian. Where's the bolt and carrier? As you can see I don't know much about metrics.

Belgium M1

Garyd1961, The top cover is Belgium as they are square/Flat walls on the side and back top of stripper clip area in design, The Canadians top cover is rounded on the sides of the stripper clip area. The Argentines look the same as the Belgiums with the plain muzzle and open ear gas blocks. The Belgiums adopted the design first and then later a lot of countries adopted the design of the Belgium M1's.

Do the wood buttstocks just come off by removing the screw behind the buttplate, or is there a giant spring lurking in there to only fly across the room when pressure is released?? Is there a secret?

Oh, and nice stocks...I want mine to look like that!!

Yes, Yes, and there is a buttstock tool you can buy or make with a rod that goes down the spring tube to capture the giant spring when the nut comes off at high speed.

Yeah, make sure you have somebody that you truly don't like stand behind the tube when you let her fly. Then ask them to pick up the spring for ya! LOL:rofl:
