I think I can tough out the boredom until Saturday. That will be the 10th day since symptoms started. This is what "they" recommend.

I'm suddenly realizing how much of the remainder of my summer this has wasted. As I said...SO much stuff I have to do.

The trick is to NEVER test for it. When sick, stay home. When better, resume life. Positive, negative, who freaking cares!

I am gettin over it now for 2nd time that I know of..advil , Jack Daniels Tennessee fire, vodka and orange juice for the vitamin c, emergen C with zinc, and elderberry vitamins. Wasnt too bad this time or the first time. I got the flu about 2 or 3 months after my first run of covid. It was way worse and never remember havin the flu till then. Worse thing ya can do is not get outside and move around.

Oh, no, I'm stuck here alright. My 90+year-old MIL with COPD lives with us and we have to do what we can to make sure she doesn't catch it from me. I'm relegated to upstairs.

SO bboooooooorrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeedddddddd. Uuuuuuggggghhhhhh!

I have been sick with the earache, body ache and flue like chest crap...loading up on vitamins c,d and magnesium. Also drinking plenty of water and TANG!!!! Yes, if it's good enough for the astronauts, it's good enough for me!! After my ear stops hurting, a good LA Aroma de Cuba cigar, some Horsesoldiers Bourbon and i will be fine!! Worked for the first time I had covid.

I made it to the point where the Colonel (John Wayne's character) goes off on his own and gets captured by the rebels. That was pretty stupid, and a Colonel would have known better. It's one thing when stupid characters make stupid mistakes, but I hate it when script writers make (one would assume) smart characters make stupid mistakes.

Sorry. You were trying to be helpful and I should have been more grateful.

I ended up watching Hell is for Heroes. It stars Steve McQueen, Fess Parker, James Coburn, Bobby Darin, and was Bob Newhart's first movie.

Tobruk was a vast improvement on Rio Lobo, too. Thanks!

I don't sleep well,,was up late, normal for me,,,and you don't feel well,,,no apologies needed for anything.

I'll give Hell is for Heroes a go tonight,,,never seen it.

I'm still getting over being in hospital a few months back,,,,activity level decreased, and boredom sneaks in quickly in these situations.

The wife was sick with a chest cold last week which she thought was a bad turn of her summer allergies. Saturday, she found out she had been exposed to covid a few days earlier. Yup, she tested positive. Not terrible, but coughing, congestion, and general lack of energy.

I've not had any symptoms so far and am keeping a reasonable distance from her now, but I canceled my business travel plans this week to be safe. I was damn sure exposed a lot before we figured out she had it. Dammit.

Yeah, my first thought when I came down with symptoms was covid. Normal colds start in my nose/sinuses and progress down into my lungs. This started in my lungs and went up. I still have some nasal congestion, but no more headaches. What's weird is on day two I tested negative before testing positive on day 3. Still positive on day 10, but show negative here on day 12. So things are looking up.

Now all we have to do is shower the house with Lysol, swab the upstairs bathroom, wash all the bed sheets and mattress protectors. If our friends are comfortable staying with us, they're visiting this coming Thursday.

Just a suggestion Andy,,,,,but ya might want to test negative again tomorrow, before getting around any old folks.

I know,,,cold water bucket, but,,,sometimes these home test read both false negative and positive results.
