Well, I don't have either of them anymore, and it hurts me daily.

The NMSFNO were super bitchin', too, but the extra length seemed almost machete-like.
I think I have a Genesis something-or-other in a box somewhere. Maybe I'll get that out and look at it.

My favorite knife is a Navy/Marine Corps MKII Ka Bar. They are cool-looking as hell. But their main weakness is that during heavy use the knife can separate from the tang, which really isn't a full tang, but a "rat tail" tang. Much smaller as it goes into the handle. I started doing some research for a "one knife for the apocalypse." I decided on an Esee 6. I'm sure a similar knife made by Busse is even nicer, but I don't have that kind of cash. The Esee seems like a fine knife.
ESEE are GREAT knives. It’s the brand I recommend to most people !! I have “a number” of them!

I thought about this a lot and the one knife I would keep is my FIL knife he carried in the navy during WWII.
Said he used it to rescue a pilot off the coast of France after the D day landing, Pilot couldn't get out of his parachute.

I like my old Air Force Survival knife .. has serrated back and comes with a stone .. I file mine to a razor edge and the stone keeps it there .. Less than $50.00 .........................
