Collins #18 is a beauty!

I collected Collins back in my collecting days and had some green horn handle pieces...knives, machetes, swords, etc.

Only have one Collins left as it was a gift from my FIL and it is an unusual sword.

There are MANY good choices for a "use it all the time (mostly) knife", but several on here have called out the older, original style Bucks, and it would be hard to disagree. I DO like certain Morakniv knives, especially for their price point vs. quality. QIadSJd.jpg

Im presently on California and to many females psycho or normal thats a minus strike and im happily married so cant nail any additional females.

Utility is one thing, general acceptance is another. Something you can use in the office, in the kitchen, can clean fish and process deer has its own benefits. A stainless mora with a plastic sheath is generally all around acceptable and a very capable edge. I like the buck 110 but the standard blades are brittle. They do have custom blade upgrades but I've never had one. The case knives like that apache are very good, I've used one with a leather handle for many years. If I could only have one knife, it would be a folder, if I could only have one fixed blade, I'd probably go with a stainless mora.

I posted the ESSE 5 earlier on which is an incredibly stout/burly knife.
Would probably fit the bill as a great all around survival blade.
Hell, the spine is an incredible 1/4" thick steel!
However, for an EDC fixed blade, the ESSE 3 or 4 would probably be more feasible.
I also have to mention the Izula. It's a great "neck knife".

I have an ESEE 4 and love it! The kids put a carbon Mora in the stocking last Christmas. Great little blade too. I have some that were custom blacksmith pieces others that are mass production. I've tried to think back to when I only had one knife or if I could even identify one that would fit the bill for The Knife. I failed 😟
