Yeah it sucks dont it, they are also sucking our northern Californias lakes dry, lake Oroville near me and another member is near lake Shasta, that one is way down from the last time I drove across its bridges.

I see that in spite of the long drought, you folks have enuff water to keep your pools filled. You're sucking southwestern Colorado dry for your pools and luxuriant lawns.

There was a problem black bear south of us. Usually they run about 350 or 400 lbs, but the fish cops knew this bear was big because he didn’t break a door in, he busted down the whole door, frame and all. I suppose at that size you don’t make noise and scare them away.

the local XC Ski area closes the “bear run” trail in winter. Skiers ask why that trail is closed, and the reason is because skiers stumble across the den and stick their head in to spot the “sleeping” bear. People really are morons

Black bears around here fall and spring. Do serious damage to the birdfeeders. We made them portable, so we can bring them in at night. Bastards. And FEARLESS too!! Had to scare one off with a 44 mag round into the ground. THAT got him moving.

We now have 30+. beehive’s on the farm and installed an electric fence around the perimeter of the hive’s. We had one black bear that tried to stuff itself with honey but the electric fence worked on the first contact it made with the electric fence . We were outside on the back deck and heard it scream. Haven’t been seen since
