I drove beside that guy on the freeway going to Bellingham WA.
Don Gartlitts?
Nope, Don Prudhomme.Don Gartlitts?
Kind of cool. If I didn't think it would get old after a few weeks I could consider this for my car.
Wow, but for color this reminds me of a truck my dad bought once. Somewhere around 1982 or so dad bought a used 1976 F250, 2WD though. It was green but also had a giant camper on the back. Thing was enormous. Dad couldn't get the thing off it fast enough and got rid of it post haste. Turned out to be a very useful truck for us back then up until it finally spun a bearing. Dad was listening to it run in the driveway one day with a thoughtful look on his face when the engine stopped with a bang that visibly rocked the truck. Rod right through the side of the block where it met the oil pan. Dad replaced the engine and used the truck a few more years. I always liked it better than the 1992 F250 he bought next.
My grandparents always had a 2 wd Ford F-250 with a big camper on the back. They loved to travel in the Southwest. After they retired, they would load up and take off of Arizona and New Mexico.
