Here’s my cool pic. The local story is that the man that built this was a June 6, ‘44 Normandy G.I, he comes home from the war to his loving, waiting wife and built her a castle for he so loved her. Right here in Wichita America. That’s the story anyway.

Here's a pic of a P-51 Mustang (actually, it would be an F-51 Mustang) with two M40-series 106mm Recoilless Rifles mounted on the wingtips. I forget the exact reason that they set up this test bed, but the project was ultimately deemed impractical, and terminated.
