FN had its own factory grey.
The Belgian Army arsenal (repairs) had tons of unused salt resistant "DUPONT" paint to redo all the WW2 Bailey bridges in Belgium.
By the time the would use the paint, most bridges got replaced by real ones. So, they use that quality paint for the FAL, FN49, MAG, BAR model D, HP's and so one.
The Belgian army gave no f$ck about getting all the parts black or grey. So you see many weapons in bi color. It is hard to do anything wrong on a M1, M2 or M3 FAL ; )

The FAL below was used for testing CAV-X supercavitating underwater ammo at my work.

Paco, how durable was the gray paint? Would cleaning fluids or lubricating oil remove it?

Gun porn? I always lusted after a Swedish K, theres just something about it. It'd go along perfectly with my m96! View attachment 265177
I have not really watched the market since pre-covid, but 4 or 5 years ago, a Swedish K was about your lowest cost option in the transferrable game. It might be worth a bit of research now if that is the one you really want.

Id rather have the American made Swedish K; S&W Model 76. Just watched a rerun of the Omega Man yesterday and the M76 was the star of the show AFAIC.
