I met the HMFIC while there for 10 days. We call him ( his request) "Uncle Dong". Retired Philippine Army dude. No doubt he could probably make that meeting happen

Danao is just up the road from my stomping grounds in Mandaue, Cebu. Been thru there but not stopped to look around, not sure I want to yet.

I did check out the more commercial end of things, here are some pics from the Armscorp office in Cebu City. (2010)

They have a range in the basement of a hotel called Club Ultima. I rented a .45 and an M16 there. Last visit in 2018 I met a guy who was setting up a range in Mactan Island and I think he did it, looks like it is Hotshot range.

Wonder if those are in 38 super? That's way more popular outside the U.S. The PNP(National Police) guys I worked with back in the 90's all had tricked out 1911's in that caliber for the extra capacity.

The Japanese gave up trying on Cebu. The south end of the island was controlled by resistance while the Japanese mostly hung out on the north end. Aint no tellin what will happen if the Chinese get belligerent enough but it would be bad for everybody for sure.
Little bit of WW2 on Cebu is documented here for any interested.


Not hard to imagine the jungle workshops not only cranking out pistols but drones capable of delivering the business end of an RPG.
