All,
I have decided to move on to other interest. I think this M1A is going to leave my safe.

Question:

What do you fellows (gals) think this M1A is worth?

I haven't made a decision on what to move to finance my other interest but I think this may be one of the items. I only need so many M1A's and think this one needs to be loved...... :p

If you could help with some ideas on what I should reasonably ask for it..... I would appreciate it.

Forget it.... I just reread the thread and realized my answer is already there. Thanks...

Thanks,
Rudigar

While these are certainly 'rare' and maybe historical if you are a huge
M14 Fan, but generally speaking I don't think they would bring the same
money that an all GI LRB would bring (3K or so depending on options).

But just for grins and giggles tywest posted his up for sale here:

Great history lesson! I remember seeing the MkIV M1A type rifle listed in the Gun Digest catalogs of the day. I used to haunt Fed Ord in South El Monte spending all of my discretionary cash there until they went out of business. They had a shop that rehabbed Mauser C96 pistols and did fantastic work.
